Schulfer & Associates Wealth Management 16th Annual Shredding Party: A Community Tradition with Purpose
For the past decade and a half, Schulfer & Associates has welcomed Central Wisconsin community members to our annual Shredding Party—a spring‑cleaning tradition that blends community service, environmental stewardship, and heartfelt support for Pacelli Catholic Schools.
This event has become our signature community tradition—the one people know us for, plan for and look forward to!
Each year, we welcome area residents to bring their no longer needed sensitive documents to be securely destroyed and responsibly recycled by our long‑time partner, Express Recycling, with donations accepted for the shredding service. In the spirit of sustainability, the recycling truly comes full circle: as many of those no‑longer‑needed tax returns, financial statements or other documents containing sensitive information, ultimately become the one kind of paperwork that will never go paperless—toilet paper.
To date, we’ve shredded and recycled more than 170,600 pounds of documents—protecting privacy while protecting the planet.
But the impact doesn’t stop there. Through generous donations and the enthusiastic participation of our community, the Shredding Party has raised over $52,000, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Pacelli Catholic Schools, an institution that has served our community for more than 150 years. Each year, Pacelli chooses a purpose for the funds: past proceeds have purchased things like robotics kits for science classes, new security equipment for the front entrance of the high school, a computer program for the schools’ libraries, math materials, playground equipment and more! This year, we aim to raise $5,000 for student retreats and leadership events across all grade levels for the 2026-27 school year. These opportunities help students grow in confidence, teamwork, leadership, and community—skills that last far beyond the classroom.

What’s New This Year
We’re excited to introduce a delicious new addition to the 2026 Shredding Party:
Kasun’s Fabulous Food Truck will be part of the party in our neighboring Associated Bank’s parking lot. Kasun’s will be offering a Shredded Menu of five entrees for purchase, including shredded pork entrees aligned with our tradition of shredded food for the shredding party! In the spirit of giving, Kasun’s will donate a portion of their proceeds directly to the Shredding Party fundraiser.
